She's been at it AGAIN!!!!

My darling daughter that is!!!! If you recall, Hailey made her "Papa" a gorgeous 8" x 8" scrapbook for Christmas (you can see it in the December 2007 posts). She did each year of her life as a double page layout and used mostly pictures of the two of them....they are VERY special to each other - they were both born on July 1st!!! How cool is that? In the original album, she only went up to YEAR 4. Now for each occassion (birthday, grandparents' day, Christmas....) she can make more pages and give them as gifts for his album.

She's been using a Becky Higgins layout book - but chooses her own colors and embellishments. This kid has more creative talent in her little pinky than I have in my whole body!!!!

Here are her pages to share:

For her birthday - I made a pop-top can and put a gift certificate for a hair cut, style and highlights....something that she has been bugging me about forever! I was terrified to take her in to get her hair cut - because it is soooooooooooo beautiful. It's all natural curl and she wanted bangs - OH MY GOSH!!!! Well, when we got their, Cindy, my AMAZING hair stylist talked her out of the bangs (THANK GOODNESS). As I'm standing there watching her cut SLABS of curls off - she could see that I was freaking out....almost hyperventilating...my eyes were as big as saucers! She actually turned to me several times to make sure I wasn't going to go POSTAL - she also turned to me and said "are you going to be OK?" LOL LOL LOL Well....I survived and my daughter ABSOLUTELY LOVES her new "DO!" And...I DO TOO!!! I never doubted Cindy - she's the BEST!

Here's her old hair:

And here's the new do! YEP - all natural curl! Isn't it sick????

Fox River Mall Expo

My downline had a BLAST with an expo at our local mall at the beginning of June! They had so many compliments on their display tables and everyone LOVED the make-n-takes that they provided.

Each day they made a different project. One day everyone enjoyed making the Jumbo Paperclips, another day they made Pixie Stick party favors and the graduation cards (not shown here) were a big hit too!

Way to go Cathy & Lisa!!! Their booth was full all the time - didn't need the boxes of "busy" work they brought along to fill their time!!!!

A Year In Review Album

This is an album that I made for my WONDERFUL 14th year old for her birthday on Tuesday!
Last year - I started a "year in review" tradition for her. I take memorable pictures from July through June and put them in some type of holder. It's so fun looking back at all the stuff she did throughout the year. Last year I made an envelope book (you can see it on this blog last year around July) for her and this year, since I have the Bind It All - I decided to step it up a little.
I used my pack of 12" x 12" In Color cardstock, Polka Dots & Petals & Happy Everything stamp sets, In Color ink pads, and Designer Paper from the Confetti Scrappin' Kit for the front and back covers.
I cut the cardstock 10" x 6" and scored it at 4" for the fold out flaps. This is a GREAT way to be able to use more photos without adding more pages. It's hard to see unless you click on the photo, but I stamped each page with the same color ink as the cardstock. I was really RUSHED for time and completed this in one evening....about 3 hours (the night before her birthday). My daughter was actually sitting across the table from me working on scrapbook pages for her grampa's birthday present while I cut, scored and stamped...she had no idea what I was making!!! She went to bed and I added all the pictures - pretty sneaky heh??? LOL
Last but not least - I used my Bind It All to bind the book and WAAAAA LAAAA! Super simple!

Mr. B's Album

Here's the album I made for my daughter's teacher for the end of the year. I LOVE my Bind It All. I get all my Bind It All supplies from Bonniesbest.com - very fast shipping and the cheapest supplies that I've found.
I know these pages are out of order....but it's so hard to move them around and I'm really pressed for time today - have to pay the bills and I'm sooooooo procrastinating!!! LOL
