Picture Clock

Isn't this adorable???? I made this as a birthday gift for my niece - Andrea. She really appreciates my handmade gifts. In one of my posts here - there is a picture of the Altered Clipboard I made her for Christmas one year - I was told that when she opened it, she said it was the best gift she'd ever gotten - NOW YOU GOTTA LOVE THAT!

This little project was soooooooooo much fun and pretty easy too!

I used an artists' canvas as the base, painted it with acrylic paint, Mod Podged the designer paper onto it and stamped the doodles with Timber Brown StazOn. I printed the picture using Sepia color - it went along with the brown tones really good! I attached the rest with Sticky Strip tape. Someone said you can apply Mod Podge to photographs.....WELL....I tried that on an extra copy and it looked terrible! Don't do it!

Who thinks this would be a fun class???

Just darling!! Is the clock an actual working clock? Cute idea for a teen or anyone for that matter. I love it & yes, it would be a fun class.

YES - it's actually a working clock! You can get the mechanism at any craft store....WalMart might even have them. OR you can buy a clock at the Dollar Store and take it apart and use the mechanism!

Thanks for the kind comment!
