Digital Scrapbook Page

OK - how cute is this???? This page was made by Jennifer Wiemann. Jennifer shared this with one of my Yahoo Groups and I fell in love with it! Her color choices, stamp choices, layout and embellisments are PERFECT!

And the best part about this page - it's all digital! THAT'S RIGHT!!!! She made the entire page with Stampin' Up!'s My Digital Studio digital scrapbooking software. HOW COOL IS THAT???

ATTENTION STAMPERS: If scrapbooking is something that you've not ventured into....because you just don't have enough time....it's too overwhelming....you don't know where to begin - THIS IS THE ANSWER!!!!

You can sit down in an afternoon or evening and make an entire album! You can upload your pages to Stampin' Up!'s professional printers and your pages, calendars or books will arrive in your mailbox! Want it instantly - print it yourself! You can also have your pages bound in a REAL hardcover book too (see the video below). Let's preserve those memories and make them look like you had a publisher on your payroll!!! LOL!

This is an incredible gift for anyone! Kids and teenagers would have a BLAST with this too! Some themes that may interest you:
  • That special vacation....
  • That super fun camping trip...
  • Your childs' school sports career....
  • A birthday book for the last 10 years...
  • A recipe book with photos of the dishes....
  • A Christmas book of Christmas past....
  • A book of quotes with your favorite flower garden photos...
  • Photos of mom for Mother's Day...
  • Don't forget dad too....
  • Hunting trips (that's for me)....
  • Graduation....
  • New baby photos...
  • Family Reunions...
  • Anniversary Parties...
  • The ideas are ENDLESS!

Year's ago, when my daughter-in-law was moving down to Georgia to be with her new Army husband, I made a framed photo collage of all her favorite places - I ran around town and took photos of Menasha High School, her place of employment, the street sign on her street, her house, her favorite stomping grounds, her friends & family, etc....some were silly, some were sentimental - but it was a way to take a little bit of "home" with her! A bound book like this would have been a keepsake to be cherished forever! Decor for your walls will come and go...but a book???

BFF Gift

I made a very special gift for my BFF for Christmas. It's a scrapbook with pictures of our hunting and fishing adventures in it.....that's my BFF on the far right below. Also picture (l. to r.) is my mom, me and my WONDERFUL sister-in-law, Barb.

WARNING: If you click on the photos to blow up the images so you can see the actual pictures on the scrap pages, you will see dead animals. YES - that's right...this is a hunting/fishing scrapbook and we do get some stuff once in awhile - LOL! If you don't like looking at dead animals....don't go any further. Don't put a comment on my blog about how you're going to "unsubscribe" because you think I'm horrible for hunting......that's what I do and I don't care what you think about it - *wink* With that being said - continue on.....

I really wish I would have taken a photo before I got started...but I wasn't thinking straight....not unusual! LOL Most people don't even know that SU sells these albums...they are on page 183 of the NEW catalog for only $13.95. The On Board Album comes in 8 1/2 x 8 1/2 and they are made of chipboard. This was soooooooo PERFECT for my project because I wanted to cover it with scrapbooking paper. I'm sad to say...SU doesn't have any outdoorsie paper, so I had to visit my local scrap store - OPPS....NOW COME ON....you all do it from time to time! LOL

Here's a picture of the cover and spine. All I did was apply Modge Podge to the back of the paper and glue it on - SUPER SIMPLE. And you can have an album in any pattern/color you want - HOW COOL IS THAT????

Here's the inside of the cover before I finished it with some more paper.
I put a photo on the front from our fishing trip to Devils Lake, North Dakota. I get the BEST sunset pictures out there!

Thanks for looking!

She did it again - my daughter Hailey, that is! She's 14 and makes a few pages of her with her grampa - for him for all the holidays. What a GREAT gift! This was his Christmas present.
