Stamp-A-Stack!!!

We had a BLAST Friday night and Saturday morning at the Retirement Stamp-A-Stack!!!! Cathy, Lisa and I came up with these cards - everyone made 2 of each for a total of 10 cards!
Lots of doorprizes and a GREAT group of lades - made for a very sucessful event!

On a sad note...my chocolate fountain failed me....#@!!##!! But a quick trip home and I had a fondue pot going - so all was not a complete mess!!!! MOM - thanks for keeping stocked with chocolate melting equipment - you da BEST!!!! We had fresh strawberries, fresh pineapple, pretzels, bananas, Nilla Wafers, marshmallows, and potato chips - there's nothing quite like a potato chip dripping with chocolate!!!!
If you missed this one -I'm soooooooooo sad for you....make sure you clear your calendar for the next one!!!

WOW Card!

How stinkin' cute is this????

OK - so I'm sitting poolside today....working on my computer and letting the kids swim their little hearts out when I had a surprise visit....well she really didn't come to visit me - LOL! I watch her grand daughter in the summer and Nancy popped in to get a "hug fix" - not from me, but from her grand daughter - how sweet is that? She just happened to have this card with her and I HAD to share it with you!!!!
It's a pocket card. The possibilities are endless with this layout...how about a baby rattle...or a Christmas ornament....or a balloon....or....do you have any ideas you can share???

Here's the "now" famous artist - Nancy!!!!

Spectacular Birthday Present!!!

I always make something really cool for my niece for her birthday - she's also my "God Child!" I was really presssed for time this year (like I'm not every other year???). I decided on a paint can - because it's so easy and I knew it wouldn't take much time. I LOVE these clear, gallon size paint cans - you can get them at Archivers...shhhhhh!
I used this adorable scrapbooking paper and then cut some of the flowers out of the scraps and used glue dots to attach them to the top half of the can that I left blank. HAD to make a matching card - don't you LOVE the silk flowers from the Pretties Kit???? I also took advantage of the Build-A-Brad in the center of the flower on the lid!
I used a Dauber and some Bashful Blue ink to color the flower on the card - it just didn't look good with a white flower - again LOVE that Pretties Kit!

What did I put in this can? I made a phone call to my sister-in-law to find out what Andrea's favorite candy was and loaded her up - I'm sure her dentist will LOVE me! I also included some cash....because every 18 year old needs a little of that - RIGHT? The SILLY STRING is always a big hit too!!!!

Here's where I really scored....she's going to UW-Eau Claire this fall and she's decorating her dorm room in the same colors that I chose for the can - HOW DID I GET SO LUCKY???? Good taste - I think!!!!

Why I was FIRED!

With all the downsizing going on - I wanted to share this funny one with you.....
For the last company picnic, management decided that, due to liability issues, we could have alcohol, but only one (1) drink per person.

I was fired for ordering the cups.

Anna's Wedding

Anna & Scott

OMG!!!! My wonderful step-daughter was married on Friday...it was such a beautiful wedding!!!! I've shared the shower invitation, wedding invitations and table decorations with you...so I thought it would only be fitting to share the actual wedding too!!! I am always honored to be a part of these kids' weddings!!!!

This was a fun photo from the Bachelorette Party - Anna was playing a little guessing game with gifts of panties - it was definately a hit!

The big day finally arrived....the banquet facility was first class...isn't this pretty and elegant??? Each table had it's own wedding cake! Notice the votive holders with the floating candles? There were 3 on each table - remember...the ones that Anna and her friends stamped and embossed with Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder - they made 3 of these for all 50 tables! Yes - it was a very big wedding! The banquet facility loved them so much - they offered to buy them from Anna!

Is she the cutest little girl you've ever seen??? This is Andi - Anna & Scott's little girl and my grand-daughter!!!!

Me & Steve - you gotta love a guy in a tux!!!!

This is my other step-daughter, Stephanie & her husband Nick.

This is our daughter Hailey (you all know her by now) and her friend Austin. Doesn't she look all grown up with the straight hair - when did that happen????

Here's the whole extended family!!! WHEW! We have Jon (brother to the bride) Steven (my step-son) and his wife Kelly, Hailey holding Andi, Steve, me, Bride Anna & Groom Scott, Marla (Anna's mom) with AJ (Stephanie's son) in front of her (he didn't cooperate with the camera-LOL), Nick, Stephanie holding their son Porter, and Elizabeth (sister of the bride).
